- Provide accurate wedding details, expectations, and requirements

- Honor confirmed bookings unless extraordinary circumstances arise
- Provide appropriate guidance and support to international guests
- Respect guests' dietary restrictions and cultural sensitivities
- Maintain reasonable standards of hospitality and accommodation
- Address any concerns or issues promptly and professionally

- Discovery: Tourists browse available wedding experiences and review details
- Request: Tourists submit requests to join specific wedding celebrations
- Review: Hosts review requests and may communicate with potential guests
- Approval: Hosts approve or decline requests based on their criteria
- Confirmation: Approved bookings create binding obligations for both parties
- Payment: Tourists complete payment to secure their booking
- Preparation: Both parties prepare for the wedding experience
Payment Terms
- All payments are processed securely through Stripe, our payment processor
- Prices are clearly displayed before booking confirmation
- Join My Vivah charges a service fee on transactions for platform maintenance
- Payment is required to confirm and secure your booking
- Hosts receive payments after successful completion of the wedding experience
- Refunds are subject to our cancellation policy outlined below
Pricing and Fees
- Wedding hosts set their own prices for experiences
- Platform service fees are clearly disclosed during booking
- All prices include applicable taxes where required
- Currency conversion may apply for international payments
- Additional costs (travel, accommodation) are not included unless specified
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Tourist-Initiated Cancellations
- More than 7 days before the wedding: Full refund minus platform service fees
- 3-7 days before the wedding: 50% refund of the booking amount
- Less than 3 days before the wedding: No refund, unless extraordinary circumstances apply
- Same day cancellation: No refund, booking amount forfeited
Host-Initiated Cancellations
- Hosts may cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (illness, family emergency, etc.)
- Tourists receive full refund for host-initiated cancellations regardless of timing
- Repeated cancellations by hosts may result in account suspension or termination
- We will attempt to help find alternative wedding experiences when possible
Extraordinary Circumstances
Full refunds may be provided regardless of timing for:
- Natural disasters or severe weather conditions
- Government travel restrictions or advisories
- Medical emergencies (with appropriate documentation)
- Visa denials or significant travel disruptions
- Safety concerns identified by our platform
Refund Processing
- Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- Service fees are non-refundable except in cases of host cancellation
- International payment processing fees may apply
Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension or termination:

Discriminatory Behavior

Disruptive Activities

- Commercial photography, videography, or filming without explicit permission

- Reselling, transferring, or subletting bookings to third parties
- Circumventing platform fees or payment systems
- Spam, automated messages, or unsolicited communications
- Hacking, data scraping, or technical exploitation

User Responsibility

Limitation of Liability
